TELL CITY – Western & Southern Financial Group has appointed a new agent to serve the Perry County area. 

Jim Ford is a Tell City resident who comes to Western & Southern with an extensive background in the insurance industry.  Ford is married to the former Sarah Miller of Tell City and the couple has three kids.
Ford said he is looking forward to serving Western & Southern’s current clients in and around Tell City, as well as meeting with prospective clients to talk about their needs.

TELL CITY – Oakwood Health Campus, a Trilogy Health Services community, has been named 2012 Best Place to Work in Indiana. This marks the fourth year since 2009 that the campus and its employees have received this recognition.
Seventy companies were named Best Places to Work list for 2012; 39 on the small-medium size business list and 31 on the large-size business list. Trilogy Health Services and its Indiana locations were named to the large-size employer list.

BRISTOW – The Beard Cemetery fund report has been released for 2011. People contributing to the cemetery fund during the year were:

PERRY COUNTY – Twenty-three people have been selected to participate in USI’s Connect with Southern Indiana Program.
The annual regional leadership program was established through a grant from the Lilly Endowment in 2006 and is currently sponsored by USI’s Center for Human Resource Development.
