  • Chamber plans trio of business ribbon-cuttings

    TELL CITY – On Monday, July 24, the Perry County Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting for the newly renovated Perry County Memorial Hospital Tell City Clinic & Virtual MD Telepsychiatry.

    The ribbon-cutting will be held at 5 p.m. at 109 Indiana 66 in Tell City.

    In the fall of 2016, Perry County Memorial Hospital received an overwhelming number of  requests  for  additional  mental  health  services  from  a  Community  Health Needs Assessment.

  • SIRS launches music therapy

    TELL CITY – Southern Indiana Resource Solutions welcomes Eva Esarey, a board certified music therapist and 2014 Indiana University-Purdue University graduate to its community service team.

    The organization is excited to add music therapy to their wide array of services for people with developmental disabilities in Dubois, Perry, Spencer, Warrick and Vanderburgh counties. Music therapy is the prescribed use of music and musical interventions for the purpose of restoring, maintaining and improving emotional, physical, physiological and spiritual health and well-being.

    TELL CITY – The Perry County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the hiring of a summer semester college intern, Garrett Jarboe. This position is made possible by the Lilly Endowment, which provides funding for the position.

  • Barco takes on career coach duties

    BOONVILLE – Southern Indiana Resource Solutions Inc. has announced  that Barbara Barco recently transitioned to a Pre-Employment Transition Service Collaborative Career Coach. SIRS is one of three collaborating partners to receive a two–year pre-employment transition grant. The grant focuses on creating positive strategies for students with intellectual and other disabilities. SIRS implements the grant in Dubois, Perry, Spencer, and Warrick County School systems.
