    He was born May 6, 1938, in Evansville, to the late Charles Wilmer and Flora Mae (Creekmur) Hall.

    TELL CITY - Barry Alan "Bear" Cronin, 44, died Sunday, June 15, 2008, at his home.

    He was born July 1, 1963, in Perry County to Norma Alice (King) Cronin and the late Cyril F. Cronin, who died Sept. 11, 1970.

    He was a 1981 graduate of Perry Central High School, where he excelled in football and shot put. He married Edith "Edi" Pate Jan. 25, 1989, in Owensboro, Ky. He enjoyed spending time with his family, four wheeling, cutting wood and reading. He worked at Wau-paca Foundry in Tell City for the past nine years.

    ROME - Jon Edward Rickert, 73, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at his home in Elizabethtown, Ky.

    He was born Sept. 15, 1934, in Louisville, Ky., to the late Harold Edward Rickert and Dorothy Groves Rickert.

    HARTFORD, Ky. - Franklin D. Aubrey, 50, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford.

    He was born June 30, 1957, in Owensboro, Ky., to Mary Tarter and the late Franklin Aubrey Sr. Also preceding him in death were a daughter, Laura Aubrey.

    In 1998 he opened Ohio County Resources for the Disabled in Ohio County, Ky., which provides medical equipment and supplies at no charge. He also hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas parties for the underprivileged.

    MILLSTONE - Marvin E. Gunn, 88, who died May 14, 2008, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., will be buried in the Millstone Church Cemetery at 1 p.m. June 14.

    His brother, David Gunn of Greer, S.C., will officiate.

    PINE RIVER, Minn. - Richard Gronquist, 84, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Whispering Pines Good Samaritan Home in Pine River.

    He was born in Proctor, Minn., May 25, 1923, son of the John and Agnes Gronquist. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice; a sister, Florence Duff and three brothers, Ray, Clifford and Leslie.

    Surviving are three sons, Leo, of Tell City, Keith of Isanti, Minn., and Cleo Kinnunen of Pine River; a sister, Lucille Gatlin of Duluth, Minn., six grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

    CARRIERE, Miss. - Ida Mae Leitner Sabelhaus Pearson, 79, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at Highland Community Hospital in Picayune, Miss.

    A native of Cannelton, she was born Jan. 31, 1929, to the late Ralph and Gladys (May) Leitner.

    She was a NASA program analyst for more than 25 years at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala. and worked at the Stennis Space Center after her NASA retirement.

    She was a longtime member of Crosby Hospital Auxiliary.

    TELL CITY - Michael E. Little, 54, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, in Slaughters, Ky.

    He was born in Tell City Jan. 29, 1954, to the late Kathleen (Davis) and Frank Little Jr.

    He was married May 13, 1972, to Wanda McManaway. He worked as a mechanic for Hancock County Ready Mix and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, boating and camping. He was a car enthusiast who enjoyed restoring Dodges.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Donald Ray Little and a sister, Ruth Alvey.

    TELL CITY - Curtis F. Mosby, 68, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

    He was born Sept. 4, 1939, in Tell City, to the late Logan Mosby and Clara Rhodes Mosby. Also preceding him in death were two sisters, Alvada Bennett and Helen Dotterweich and two brothers, Charlie and Leonard Mosby.
