ORLEANS—Perry Central hit 50.0 percent from the field and held off a late run by Orleans to beat the Bulldogs 57-51 in PLAC boys basketball Friday.
The Commodores hit 8 of 15 from three-point range and had probably their best mix of perimeter shots, driving baskets and free throws this season.
“When we take good shots, we’re not a bad shooting team,” said Perry Central Coach Matt Carter.
