LEOPOLD—Perry Central jumped to a 19-0 lead and held off Forest Park 31-12 in football Friday.
Forest Park cut a 19-0 halftime lead to 19-12 with 11:52 left in the game.
But soon after that Perry Central capitalized on a shanked Ranger punt that went 15 yards, stopping at the Ranger 36.
Devin Martin ran around the left end for 15 yards, but the Commodores gained a total of just 2 yards on the next three plays.
