Hubert shoots PC past Raiders

LEOPOLD—Perry Central used pressure defense early and Luke Hubert’s hot shooting to beat Southridge 53-42 in boys basketball Friday.
Perry Central forced four turnovers on Southridge’s first six possessions.
That helped the Commodores start out on a 5-0 run on a basket by Ty Mullis and a three-pointer by Hubert.
Southridge took the lead at 6-5 for the only time in the game on a basket by Jacob Masterson.
