LEOPOLD—Orleans broke open a close game with pressure defense and some transition layups in the second half to beat Perry Central 50-33 in PLAC boys basketball Friday.
Perry Central trailed only 24-22 at halftime but got outscored 17-8 in the first 10 minutes of the second half.
“Probably six of our 14 turnovers led to layups for them, especially in that run they made,” said Perry Central Coach Matt Carter.
