LEOPOLD—Offensive rebounds and steals gave Perry Central more shots and the Commodores capitalized on them to beat Cannelton 77-20 in girls basketball Monday.
The Commodores outshot Cannelton from the field 45.6 percent to 26.5 percent. But a bigger statistic was their taking 35 more shots thanks to a 45-27 advantage in rebounds and 12 to 37 advantage in turnovers.
They scored 18 points directly off steals and 14 off offensive rebounds.
