Carter wants city to ‘stand up,’ county to enact dog tax

TELL CITY – Jim Carter is working to get city and county officials to “stand up,” he said, to animal problems that recently came to a head for businesses along Tell City’s Main Street.

A letter from Kathy Finley of Finley’s Antiques and Custom Framing highlighted a problem “we noticed two-and-a-half years ago that’s going to get worse, and obviously this is one of the worst of the situations in Tell City,” said Carter, president of the Humane Society of Perry County.
