Dianne Greulich Brown was 28 years old when she painted a blond, buxom Mermaid on the wall of the Sportsman Inn. She returned Friday to sign her name to the iconic work of art, which is still in place at the newly opened Pint Haus. The building was thoroughly remodeled this summer but the mermaid was too well known to be removed, Pint Haus owner Derek Cronin said. He was on hand as Brown, who is a 1964 graduate of Tell City High School, autographed the work. She now lives in California and said she is happy her handiwork from more than 40 years ago remains.
