More than 120 William Tell Elementary School sixth-graders are better prepared for the challenges and tough decisions that lay ahead in life … all thanks to a just completed Gang Resistance Education and Training Program. A graduation ceremony Thursday celebrated students’ completion of the 13-week program that brought Tell City Police Chief Derrick Lawalin into the classroom each week to offer good advice on gangs, peer pressure and making appropriate decisions.
