Unbeknownst to many, St. Martin’s Cemetery in Chrisney is the final resting place of royalty, of a sort.

Herman “Beefsteak Charlie” Campbell, better known as King of the Hobos, was a common guest to many Chrisney and Spencer County residents. He was also a  regular visitor to Troy and, perhaps, Tell City.
