  • Miller – James

    Emily Miller and Kyle James were married in a 1:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony May 27, 2017, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold.

    The wedding was officiated by Father Brian Esarey.

    The bride, the daughter of Cliff and Jane Miller of Tell City, was given in marriage by her father. The groom is the son of Larry and Marlene James of Leopold.

    Maid of honor was Claire Wilcher, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Alvey, friend of the bride; Rachel Pitts, friend of the bride; and Sarah Miller, sister of the bride.

  • Fenn-Allen

    Jessica Fenn of Tell City and Jeffrey Allen of Rochester, Minn., were united in marriage on Saturday, July 15, 2017, in a 4 p.m. outdoor ceremony at Silverwood Park in St. Anthony, Minn. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Doug Fenn, uncle and godfather of the bride. The reception followed in the Great Hall of Silverwood Park before the couple honeymooned in Belize.

  • Sabelhaus-Nugent

    Tiffany Sabelhaus and John Nugent Jr. were married in 3 p.m. double-ring ceremony May 20, 2017, in Cannelton. The wedding was officiated by Karen A. Werner.

    The bride was given in marriage by her parents, David and Diana Sabelhaus of Bristow. Matron of honor was Shelby Aldridge and best man was Derek Little.

    A reception followed at Schergens Center in Tell City, before the couple honeymooned in Honolulu, Hawaii.

  • Thomas – Wheatley

    Amber Thomas and Trent Wheatley were wed at 2 p.m. June 17, 2017, in a double-ring ceremony at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City.

    The Rev. Dennis Duvelius and Rev. Tom Brown officiated.

    The bride was given in marriage by her mother and father, Laura and Mark Thomas of Tell City.

  • Daugherty-Cannon

    Christian Cannon and Megan Daugherty were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, in Princeton, Ky. The bride is the daughter of Jeff Daugherty and the late Sheila (Melberg) Daugherty of Princeton and the granddaughter of Marietta Melberg and the late Herbert Melberg of Tell City.

    The groom is the son of Michael and Charity Cannon of Princeton.

  • Groves-Taylor

    Stephanie Groves and Bryan Taylor were united in marriage on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at St. Pius Catholic Church in Troy. The Rev. Dennis Duvelius presided at the 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of Dean and Melissa Groves of Tell City. The groom is the son of Tom and Debbie McCart and Grant and Gayle Taylor, all of Tell City.

    Matrons of honor were Amanda Fisher of Tell City, cousin of the bride, and Amy Kleeman of Tell City, a friend of the bride.

  • Sharp-Zellers

    Ashley Caroline Sharp of Indianapolis and Dane William Zellers of Indianapolis were united in marriage during an outdoor ceremony on Saturday, June 10, 1017, at Chateau Pomije Winery in Guiford, Ind.

    Miss Sharp is the daughter of Frederick and Betty Sharp of Medina, Ohio. Mr. Zellers is the son of Denny and Carol Zellers of Cannelton.

    The bride was given in marriage by her father in a double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Dave Kulchar.

  • Houtchen-Powers

    In a May 6, 2017, ceremony inside First Christian Church in Troy, Molly Houtchen and Gordon Powers were united in marriage.

    The bride is the daughter of Gary and Bertha Armes of Hardinsburg, Ky. The groom is the son of the late Charlie and Carolyn Powers.

    Jack Masterson officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony, in which the bride was given in marriage by her father.

  • Goffinet-Kleeman

    Karey Goffinet and Brian Kleeman were married Saturday, July 29, 2017, in a ceremony held at Corner House Bed and Breakfast in Rockport.

    The bride is the daughter of Diana and Charlie Goffinet and Kenny Goffinet. The groom is the son of Sheila Gaynor and the late Larry “Clete” Kleeman.

    Mrs. Kleeman is a 1994 graduate of Tell City High School and is currently employed as a purchasing analyst at Masterbrand. Mr. Kleeman is a 1997 graduate from the school and serves as a journeyman linesman for the Tell City Electric Department.

    Chelsie Dobberstein and Zachary Rogier were married March 25, 2017, at 2:30 p.m., at Goeglein’s Homestead in Fort Wayne.

    The Matron of honor was Jessica Miller, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ellen Rogier, sister-in-law of the groom, of Evansville; Amber Chappell, friend of the bride, of Auburn; Kayla Smith, friend of the bride, of Auburn, Aubrey Graham, friend of the bride, of Fort Wayne; and Lindsey Rogier, sister of the groom, of Evansville.
