Hoosier National Forest District Ranger
The Hoosier National Forest conducted two timber sales in 2014, totaling 215 acres, with a volume of approximately 6,825 hundred cubic feet. To put this into perspective, it takes approximately 1.3 CCF to build a typical single family home that is 2,400 square feet. This equates to approximately 5,332 cords of firewood. Our timber is used for a variety of end products.
