    The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeffery Voges of Jasper and Denise Patton of Bandon.

    The future groom is the son of Gary Barnes and Angela Barnes, both of Magnet.

    The wedding ceremony is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015 , at Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial in Lincoln City. A 5 p.m. reception will be held at the Bristow Community Center in Bristow.

  • Heather Altmann of Bristow and Jonathan Jones of Rockport announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

    Miss Altmann is the daughter of Bill and Tammy Sandage of Bristow and Tim and Jatina Altmann of Ferdinand. She is a 2006 graduate of Perry Central and works at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City in guest relations.

    Mr. Jones is the son of Carl and Elaine Jones of Rockport. He is a 2009 ITT Tech graduate and works at Enova Premier in Princeton as a maintenance technician.

  • St. Paul youth to host bake sale Saturday

     

    TELL CITY – High School Youth from St. Paul’s Church will be doing a fund raiser on Saturday, August 22nd at the Farmer’s Market at the Depot.

    They are raising money to be able to attend the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis, IN in November.

    They will be selling cakes, breads, cup cakes, brownies, pies, jams, jellies, breakfast rolls.

  • Amy L. Little and Victor A. Bengert, both of Evansville, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

    The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jim Marshall of Columbia, Mo., and granddaughter of Brenda Little of Cannelton.

    The groom is the son of Juanita and Bruce Blanford of Newburgh and the late Chris Bengert.

    The wedding ceremony is planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, in Evansville, with a reception to follow.

  • Athena Renae Haake of Ferdinand and Neal Andrew Goffinet of Tell City announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

    The bride-to-be is the daughter of Henry and Lisa Haake of Ferdinand. She is a graduate of Forest Park High School and the University of 

    Evansville with a degree in exercise science.

    The future groom is the son of David and Jane Goffinet of Tell City. He is a graduate of Tell City High School and Purdue University. He is an environmental scientist with the Lochmueller Group in Evansville.

  • DESCENDANTS OF JOSEPH AND MARY ROGIER of Leopold will gather for a family reunion at noon Sunday, Sept. 6, at the Perry County Coon Club. Meal will be at noon, but arrive earlier if you would like. Table service will be provided. Take your own drinks and enough covered dishes for your family for a pitch-in dinner.

    TELL CITY – Would you like to knit or crochet hats and scarves for homeless shelters, veteran hospitals and Head Start children? Take your needles or crochet hooks and they’ll supply the yarn. The next meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at Tell City First United Methodist Church.
