Second- through sixth-grade students at William Tell Elementary participated in the annual Jump Rope for Heart Feb. 9 at the school’s gym.
The students raised more than $9,100, which is up from the $7,600 the school raised last year. “They did awesome,” said physical education teacher Sally Stevenson. “It’s amazing that they were able to get that much money considering this economy.
