  • The Moutschka Orchestra was one of the first orchestras in the history of Tell City. It provided music for the many dances held in the city and in Perry County played dinner music for many social affairs.

  • Ali Donovan competed in the 25th Schweizer Fest Diaper Derby Aug. 11. Her father, Nathan Donovan, took part in the first event.

  • Heather Bottella and Josh Miller announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

    The future bride is the daughter of Lucie Koretsky of Warwick, R.I. Mr. Miller is the son of David and Paula Miller of Tell City.
    The couple will be united in a 3 p.m. ceremony at St. James Church in Manville, R.I., Sept. 8, 2012. A reception will follow at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, R.I.
    A second reception will be held Oct. 6 at the Schergens Center in Tell City.

  • Leah Marie Ubelhor and Derrek Wayne Rasche announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

    The future bride is the daughter of Doug and Julie Ubelhor of Bristow. Mr. Rasche is the son of Lester and Ruth Ann Rasche of Ferdinand.
    The couple will be wed in a 2 p.m. ceremony Sept. 8, 2012, at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Ferdinand.
    A reception will follow at the Ferdinand Community Center.
    The future bride is a graduate of Perry Central High School and Ivy Tech community College. She is employed at Meyer Distributing.

  • SAINT MEINRAD – At the annual Saint Meinrad Alumni Reunion, Bernie Niehaus of Vincennes and the Rev. Donald Wolf of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City were honored July 24 as winners of the Distinguished Alumnus Award.
    The reunion was held on the Saint Meinrad campus July 23-25.

    CANNELTON – Agape Community Church, 101 Taylor Street in Cannelton, will host Tim and Kim Chenault Sunday.
    The couple will minister the 10 a.m. worship service.Everyone is welcome to attend.

  • Keith and Cassie Feldpausch announce the birth of their son, Ace Philip Feldpausch, Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at St. Mary’s in Evansville.
    The infant weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19 inches long.
    Ace has two older siblings, Annie, 10, and Aden, 8. Mrs. Feldpausch is the former Cassie Wood.
    Grandparents are Ronald and Mary Feldpausch of Tell City, Mike and Sharon Wood of Owensboro, Ky., and Harris and Suzie Williams of Germantown, Tenn.
