BRISTOW – The LaGrange family reunion was held Sept. 22 at St. Isidore Catholic Church parish hall in Bristow. A pitch-in meal was enjoyed by all those who attended. Those who were present were the descendants of Louis and Sally LaGrange.
There was a memory table set up and also a crafts table for the children. Music was provided by Justin LaGrange and Tim James. The half-pot drawings were won by Rosemary LaGrange and Joe LaGrange.
TELL CITY – Worship leader and songwriter Darrell Evans will be appearing in Tell City for a community worship event Nov. 3, at Community Christian Church, located at 821 10th Street.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. Darrell’s projects “Let the River Flow” and “Freedom” both garnered Dove Award nominations and influenced a new wave of congregational worship. His newest project, “Nothing Less Than Everything,” wraps his joy, passion and experience in a fresh and powerful sound.
DERBY – The King family reunion was held Sept. 30 at Twin Lakes Cedar Cabins with 61 family members in attendance.
Fish, chicken and potatoes were provided fort he meal with families taking covered dishes.
Attending were the descendants of Lonnie Richard and Susie Clara (Sanders) King.
Harvest Carnival at St. John’s Lutheran
EVANSTON – St. John’s Lutheran Church in Evanston will host a Harvest Carnival from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.
The event is sponsored by St. John’s church and SonShine Early Learning Ministry. There will be free food, bounce houses, games and trunk-or-treats from 3:30 to 5 p.m. All are invited to attend.

TELL CITY – The Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual holiday bazaar from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 1. There will also be a silent auction.
Several items are up for bid and include a one-night stay for two, a spa session for two and cafe breakfast for two at the West Baden Inn, two one-day passes to Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari, a C & S gas card, a Christmas wreath, a certificate for one dessert each month for one year beginning in January 2013, a necklace and a Longaberger Christmas plate.
Brad and Danielle Hall of Tell City announce the birth of their son, Wayde Alexander Hall, Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City.
The infant weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Mrs. Hall is the former Danielle Harth.
