  • Laura (Bolin) Burden recently celebrated being a great-great-grandmother of three baby girls. The first, Audra Lynn Bolin, was born April 29 to Tim and Laira Bolin. Audra’s grandparents are Dennis and Lisa Bolin. The second, Ryleigh Katherine Scott, was May 11 to Uriah Scott and Megan Whitworth. Ryleigh’s grandmother is Denisa Whitworth. The last baby girl, Makenzie Lynn Bolin, was born May 29 to Cody and Mandy Bolin. Makenzie’s grandparents are Charles and Cheryl Cravens. Great-grandparents of all three babies are Dennis and Peggy Bolin.

  • Cole James Harpenau
    Brandon and Jessica Harpenau of Jeffersonville announce the birth of their son, Cole James Harpenau, Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
    The infant weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces and was 201⁄2 inches long.
    Cole has one older sister, Adilyn Marie.
    Grandparents are Eric and Tara Leeson of Salt Lake City, Utah, Bob and Becky McCabe of Indianapolis and Maurice and Donna Harpenau of Tell City.

  • Jennifer Ignet and Alan Hess of Milltown announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
    The bride-elect is the daughter of Rick and Amy Ignet of Tipp City, Ohio. She is a graduate of Tipp City High School and Urbana University with a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine.
    Mr. Hess is the son of Tom and Joan Hess of Tell City. He is a graduate of Tell City High School and Urbana University with a bachelor’s degree in education. He is a teacher and head football coach at Crawford County High School.

  • Gary and Nancy Graman of St. Meinrad announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Krystle S. Graman, to Trevor L. R. Wagoner, son of Tony II and Milissa Wagoner of Borden.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of Heritage Hills High School and Indiana University Southeast, New Albany, with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
    She is employed with West Clark School Corp. in Sellersburg. 

  • Stephanie Lynch and Ben Harpenau of Charlotte, N.C., announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

  • Al and Kathleen Hauenstein celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary May 20, 2011, with a celebration hosted by their children at Lynn’s Paradise Café in Louisville, Ky.

    Mr. Hauenstein married the former Kathleen Snyder May 20, 1951, at Evangelical United Church of Christ in Tell City.
    They are the parents of Carol Henke of Greenwood, Jan Hauenstein of Scottsdale, Ariz., David Hauenstein of Elizabethtown, Ky., Nena Manci of Franklin, Tenn., Sarah Manci of New Bremen, Ohio, and John Hauenstein of Tell City.

  • Blake Thomas Kucy
    Thomas and Amie Kucy of Clinton, Wis., announce the birth of their son, Blake Thomas Kucy, Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, Ill.
    The infant weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 201⁄4 inches long.
    Mrs. Kucy is the former Amie Etienne.
    Grandparents are Randall and Barbara Etienne of Tell City and Dennis and Amy Kucy of Lake Geneva, Wis.
    Great-grandparents are Casper and Glenda Etienne and Donald and Helen Shaw.
