  • Jon and Kiffani Michel of Cannelton will celebrate their 10-year wedding anniversary Aug. 10, 2012.
    Mr. and Mrs. Michel were married Aug. 10, 2002, at Fort Hood, Killeen, Texas.

    The couple have two children, Dakoda Faith Michel, 4, and Sierra Katelyn Michel, 2.

  • First Lt. (Capt. select) Jacob and Emily Pagragan of Jacksonville, N.C., announce the birth of their son, Liam Dempsey Pagragan, Thursday, May 24, 2012.
    The infant weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 201⁄2 inches long.
    Liam has two brothers, James Reilly, 3 and Finley Michael, 18 months. Mrs. Pagragan is the former Emily Henrickson of Lunenburg, Mass.
    Grandparents are Bill and Jennifer Rodgers Pagragan of Richland and William and Jackie Henrickson of New London, Conn.

  • Amity and Stephen Patrick announce the birth of their daughter, Brynlynn Mae Patrick, Friday, June 29, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
    The infant weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches long.
    Mrs. Patrick is the former Amity Henderson.
    Grandparents are Tessy and James Henderson and Kimberly and Thomas Patrick.
    Great-grandparents are Rose and George Parr, Donna Henderson, Sharon and Dennis Shreve, Avis Patrick and Evelyne Faye Summers.

  • David and Gail Edwards of Leopold announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kyla Faye Edwards, to Isaac Edward Schroeder, son of Duane and Tracy Schroeder of Tell City.

    The bride-elect graduated from Perry Central High School in 2009 and from Western Kentucky University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. She currently works at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City as a rehab tech.

  • TELL CITY – The Tell City United Methodist Church will host its first Bible Trivia Night Aug. 4.
    Teams with a maximum of eight players will enjoy a meal at 5 p.m. before competing in eight rounds of eight questions to see who has more Bible knowledge and can be crowned Bible trivia champions.

  • Nicole Baur and Ryan Zimmerman of Evanston announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

  • LEOPOLD – St. Augustine Catholic Church will hold its annual picnic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 29. Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m.
    Parking will be available for the handicapped. The event will feature quilts, a quilt raffle, silent auction, yard sale, country store, bingo, ice cream, games for young and old, a cornhole tourney, baked goods and a grand raffle of 60 prizes totaling $2,600.
    Family-style chicken dinners will be served in the air-conditioned dining room. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children. Carry-outs will be available.

  • The Chrisney High School class of 1956 held their reunion June 1 at the Patio in Tell City. There were 17 classmates present.
