TELL CITY – The Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual Holiday Bazaar Raffle today.
A handcrafted solid walnut blanket chest will be raffled off during a today drawing at the end of the bazaar at the hospital.
The bazaar will also include many other handcrafted items and baked goods for sale.
The gift shop will be open during the event with special sales.
A luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the hospital cafeteria. Cost for the meal is $7.

TELL CITY – Goblins, Games and Goodies, an event sponsored by Perry County Junior Women, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Perry County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Families are invited to take their children for a night of games, crafts, treats and even a haunted trail. There will also be “Witchy Story Time.” Popcorn, hot chocolate, hot cider and other snacks will be available for purchase. Snack proceeds will benefit the 4-H Council. Boy Scouts Troop 192 and Perry County 4-H Junior Leaders are sponsoring the haunted trail.

TELL CITY – Alan Kott will speak at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 Perry County Memorial Hospital to share his personal experiences with diabetes and taking insulin to help control his blood sugar.
Kott is a member of the sanofi-aventis A1C Champions Program, which is a patient led approach to diabetes education. He has diabetes and takes insulin as part of his overall diabetes treatment plan including diet, exercise and other diabetes medications.
