  • LINCOLN CITY – Lincoln Am-phitheatre’s 2013 season will kick off April 14. This year’s lineup includes the second season of “A. Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale,” along with other theatrical productions, concerts and a Halloween event.

  • John (Daniel) and Whitney Richard of Boonville announce the birth of their son, Garrett Daniel Richard, Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville.
    The infant weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces and was 21 inches long.
    Mrs. Richard is the former Whitney Lasher of Boonville.
    Grandparents are Monica and Charles Richard of Magnet, Donna and Richard Lasher of Boonville and John and Kelly Richard of Boonville.

  • Jeff and Theresa Ebert of St. Meinrad announce the birth of their son, Luke James Ebert, at 2:06 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at the Women’s Hospital in Newburgh.
    The infant weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19 inches long.
    Mrs. Ebert is the former Theresa Kleaving. Luke has an older brother, Ben, 6, and an older sister, Claudia, 4.
    Maternal grandparents are Gilbert and Margie Kleaving of Tell City. Paternal grandparents are James and Kathleen Ebert of Ferdinand.

  • The first baby of the year born at Perry County Memorial Hospital was Madilynn Marie Jane Parrott, daughter of Missy Parrott. She was born Friday, Jan. 4, delivered by Dr. Juan Cornejo. She weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces.

  • Jenna Wilson and Kevin Gengelbach of St. Phillips announce their engagement and approaching wedding.

    The bride-elect is the daughter of Lin and Teri Staples of Haubstadt. She is a graduate of Gibson Southern High School and the University of Southern Indiana with a degree in elementary education.
    She works at South Terrace Elementary School in the North Posey school district.

  • The Perry County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of The Greenhouse & Bouquets Nov. 8. 

  • St. Isidore the Farmer Parish’s in Bristow held confirmation Oct. 14 at the St. Meinrad Parish.

  • Creation scientist to speak at CCC
    TELL CITY – David McQueen, a career geologist for Louisiana and a life-long creationist, will speak Jan. 20 at Community Christian Church, 821 10th St., in Tell City.

  • Kalea Jones was crowned Miss Merry Christmas Nov. 30, at Town Square Mall in Owensboro, Ky.

  • Kristel Hess and Nicholas Kratzer were united in marriage during an afternoon ceremony Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold.

    The bride is the daughter of Donald and Lynda Hess of Derby. Mr. Kratzer is the son of Jim and Billie Faye Schwartz of Tell City and the late Albert Kratzer.
    The bride was given in marriage by her father in a double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Brian Esarey.
