    Miss Zellers is a 2009 graduate of Tell City Junior-Senior High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana. She is a dental hygienist at Santa Claus Family Dentistry and the office of Dr. Fred Meister in Owensboro, Ky.

    The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kenny and Susie Kieser of Derby. The groom-to-be is the son of Traci Newton of Tell City.

    The wedding ceremony is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at Twin Lakes Cedar Cabins in Derby. A reception will follow at the same location.

    The bride is the daughter of Dea Goad of Tell City and the late Ralph Goad.

    The groom is the son of Shawn and Jackie Garmer of Jonesborough, Tenn.

    The bride was given away by her brother, Bob Goad, in a double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Byron Paddock.

    The bride was given in marriage by her parents in the double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Darin Perkins.

    Beth Eubanks of Indianapolis, sister of the bride, was chosen as matron of honor.

    The bride is the daughter of Joe and Melissa Glenn of Tell City and Archie Bryant of Gentryville.

    The groom is the son of Cindy Kepler of Tell City and Chris Zuckschwerdt of Cannelton.

    The bride was given away by her father in the double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Ron Ammon.

    The wedding ceremony is planned for 2 p.m. Sept. 13, at the Perry County 4-H Fairgrounds in Tell City with a reception to follow.

  • CANNELTON – Pvt. Sierra D. Kellems of Cannelton graduated basic combat training Aug. 7, at Fort Jackson, S.C

    While there, Kellems completed an intensive 10-week program that included training in military discipline, Army core values, history and traditions, physical fitness, combat life-saving first aid, weapons use, map reading and land navigation and armed-combat field maneuvers and tactics.

  • Eugene and Delores Welp of Siberia will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a 7:30 a.m. Mass Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, at St. Martin of Tours Church in Siberia.

    Eugene Welp and Delores Otto were married Oct. 5, 1974, at St. Meinrad Catholic Church in St. Meinrad.

    The Welps are the parents of three children, Amy (Zack) Smith of Franklin, Beth (David) Morris of Siberia and Christine Richardt of Branchville. They have six grandchildren, Emma and Caitlyn Smith, Alex and Cy Richardt and Ethan and Eli Moseby.
