  • Ubelhor – Rasche

    Leah Marie Ubelhor and Derrek Wayne Rasche announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

    The future bride is the daughter of Doug and Julie Ubelhor of Bristow. Mr. Rasche is the son of Lester and Ruth Ann Rasche of Ferdinand.
    The couple will be wed in a 2 p.m. ceremony Sept. 8, 2012, at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Ferdinand.
    A reception will follow at the Ferdinand Community Center.
    The future bride is a graduate of Perry Central High School and Ivy Tech community College. She is employed at Meyer Distributing.

  • Chinn – Weyer

    Bruce and Sarah Chinn of Tell City announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Katherine Elizabeth, to Nicholas Ryan Weyer, son of Ron and Lou Ann Weyer of Ferdinand.

    The bride-elect graduated from Tell City High School in 2001 and from Belmont University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in middle-school education. She is currently employed with the Tell City-Troy Township School Corp. as a teacher.

  • Edwards – Schroeder

    David and Gail Edwards of Leopold announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kyla Faye Edwards, to Isaac Edward Schroeder, son of Duane and Tracy Schroeder of Tell City.

    The bride-elect graduated from Perry Central High School in 2009 and from Western Kentucky University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. She currently works at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City as a rehab tech.

    Nicole Baur and Ryan Zimmerman of Evanston announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

  • Luna - Schatz

    Jamie Luna and Eric Schatz of Terre Haute announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

    The bride-elect is the daughter of Janet Moreno of Indianapolis and the late Jerry Luna. She is a graduate of Indiana State University with degrees in English and education.
    In the fall she will be an English teacher at Terre Haute South High School.

  • Knox – James

    Kristy Lynn Knox and Doyle Evan James of Tell City, along with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Knox of Hawesville, Ky., and Mr. and Mrs. Cleatus James of Cannelton, and their children, Skyler James, Alexander James, Zachary Scott ad Melissa Scott, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of Red Mountain High School in California, LaVonne’s Beauty Academy and the University of Phoenix in Mesa, Ariz. She is a licensed nail technician and manicurist.

  • Germany – VanHoosier

    Tamara Germany of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Don VanHoosier of Santa Claus announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

    The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Lois Smith and Elmer Miller. She is a graduate of Apollo College Medical School and works as a head nurse at Advanced Care Emergency Center.
    Mr. VanHoosier is the son of Rita and Bernie Hudecek of Evansville. He is a graduate of Woodbridge High School and retired from METS Transportation.

  • Masterson – Gagliardi

    Shelly Masterson of Cannelton and Vince Gagliardi of Maceo, Ky., announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

    The bride-elect is the daughter of the late William and Lucille Masterson. She is a 1993 graduate of Cannelton High School and graduated twice from Western Kentucky University in 1998 and 2004. She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and master’s degree in exceptional education.
    She is a Title I teacher at Cannelton City Schools.

  • Gehlhausen – Schmitt

    Bridget Marie Gehlhausen of Bristow and Jason Michael Schmitt of Jasper announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

    The bride-elect is the daughter of Roch and Marlene Gehlhausen of Bristow. She is a 2006 graduate of Perry Central High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Indiana in 2012. She works at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper and St. Mary Medical Center in Evansville.

  • Persinger – Terry

    Brittany Nicole Persinger and Logan Jay Terry, along with their families, announce their engagement and approaching marriage. 

    The bride-elect is the daughter of Charlotte Per-singer and John Waninger of Tell City and Rick Sr. and Barbara Persinger of St. Anthony. She is a 2004 graduate of Perry Central High School and a 2011 graduate of Vincennes University, with a dual bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education. She is a fourth-grade teacher at William Tell Elementary in Tell City.
