    The bride to be is the daughter of Joe and Gayle Litherland . She is a graduate of Tell City High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana. She teaches kindergarten at William Tell Elementary School in Tell City.

    Michelle Galey and Ernie Wallace of Tell City announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. The couple will exchange vows in a private double-ring ceremony at 3 p.m. Nov. 4, 2017, at the Bristow Community Center. A reception will start at 4.

    The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dave and Teresa Dauby and Robbie Gayer and the late Brian Gayer of Tell City. She is a 1991 graduate of Perry Central High School and is employed at Cinderella’s in Tell City.

    The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jim and Lisa Wilson and a graduate of Tell City Junior-Senior High School. She is employed as a home health aide with Adaptive Nursing and Health Care.

    The bride is the daughter of Chris and Michelle Houck and Ali Elrhanjaoui. She is a graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School. She recently earned her Masters of Education and teaches fifth-grade reading and language at J. S. Aucion in St. Mary Parish, La.  She is also the head swim coach for Centerville High School.

    The bride is the daughter of Leonard and Melinda Hubert of Bristow. She is a graduate of Perry Central High School and Vincennes University Jasper Campus. Heather is currently a nurse for Wexford Health at Branchville Correctional Facility.

    The groom is the son of Nicole Sims of Tell City. He is a graduate of Perry Central High School and is employed at Best Home Furnishings.

    David and Julie Hakes of Tell City announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Matthew David Hakes, to Tosha Michelle Gowan, daughter of Kent and Rhonda Backus of Salem.

    The future bride is a 2007 graduate of Salem High School and received a degree from Ivy Tech Community College in 2013. She is employed as an emergency medical dispatcher at American Medical Response in Evansville.

    The bride-to-be is a graduate of Perry Central High School and Ivy Tech Community College. She is employed with Branchville Correctional Facility as a secretary.
