  • Seifert – Hagedorn

    Abby E. Seifert of Dale and Jeremy J. Hagedorn of Tell City announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

    The bride-to-be is the daughter of Cathy Seifert and Gary Seifert of Dale.

    The future groom is the son of Marilyn and Joseph Hagedorn of Tell City.

    The wedding ceremony is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dale.

    A reception will be held at the Spencer County Youth and Community Center in Chrisney.

  • Ramsey – Blinn

    Samuel Eugene Ramsey and Emily Jade Blinn announce their upcoming wedding ceremony Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, in Muncie. 

    The prospective bridegroom is the son of Brian and Penny Snyder of Troy.

    His grandparents are Hubert and Judy Ramsey of Troy and Mae Snyder of Tell City and the late William Snyder.

    The bride-to-be is the daughter of Edwin Jr. and Usa Blinn of Marion.

    Her grandparents are George and Rose Porter and Terry and Flo Rennaker of N.C., Marty Porter of Fairmont and Edwin Sr. and Brenda Blinn of Marion.

  • Schwartz – Kleaving

    Meriam E. Schwartz of Eckerty and Michael L. Kleaving of Tell City announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

    The bride-to-be is the daughter of Joseph and Edna Schwartz of Eckerty.

    The future groom is the son of Gilbert and Margie Kleaving of Tell City.

    Miss Schwartz is a 2010 home school graduate and is a cook at the Schwartz Family Restaurant.

    Mr. Kleaving is a 2006 graduate of Perry Central High School and a 2010 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a degree in Agriculture Education.

    Jason Lindsey of Tell City and Tara Simmons of Cannelton announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

    The future groom is the son of Jerry and Linda Wiseman of Tell City and Larry and Leonor Lindsey of French Lick. 

    He is a 1998 graduate of Castle High School in Newburgh and has studied at Ivy Tech Southwest in Evansville.

  • Schaefer – Mehling

    Jackie Schaefer and Steve Mehling will be married at 3 p.m. EDT Saturday, July 18, 2015, at St. Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry.

    Parents of the couple are Pauline Schaefer of St. Meinrad and the late Harold Schaefer and Eugene and Imelda Mehling of Ferdinand.

    The future bride is employed by the Dubois Spencer Perry Exceptional Children’s Co-op as a preschool coordinator and teacher for orthopedic impairment students. 

    The future groom is employed by Jasper Engines and Transmissions as an over-the-road truck driver.

  • Blum – Shaw

    DeeJay Shaw and Megan Blum announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

    The future bride is the daughter of Bill Blum and Lisa Dauby of Tell City. She is a 2013 graduate of Perry Central High School and will graduate from Harrison College this fall with an Associate of Applied Science in veterinary technology. This summer, she will begin an externship in Lafayette.

  • Ransom - Morris Engagement

    Mr. and Mrs. James and Ruth Ransom of St. Croix announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, April Rene Ransom to James Thomas Morris of Tell City.

    The future groom is the son of the late William and Peggy Morris.

    He is a graduate of Tell City High School and attended Vincennes University. He is a heavy-equipment operator at Mulzer Crushed Stone.

  • Hinton-Deel Engagement

    Christopher Deel and Jaimi Hinton announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
    The future bride is the daughter of James Hinton Jr. and Mari Hinton of Tell City.
    She is a 2010 graduate of Tell City High School and graduated this year from the University of Southern Indiana. She is employed at Owensboro Health.
    Mr. Deel is the son of Carl Deel of Birdseye and Norma Deel of Tell City. He graduated in 2009 from Perry Central High School and received a degree in 2010 from Nashville Auto Diesel College.
    He is employed at Peabody Energy.

  • Hagedorn - Pond engagement

    The bride-elect is a 2012 graduate of Perry Central and a 2014 graduate of Harrison College with an associate of applied science degree in veterinary technician. She is employed at Princeton Veterinary Hospital.

    Mr. Pond is a 2004 graduate of Wood Memorial. He was in the U.S. Army from 2005–10 and is currently serving in the U.S. Army Reserves and employed at Ameriqual.
