TELL CITY – The Hoosier Heights Ladies will host their annual auction Wednesday, Nov. 30 at the Hoosier Heights Country Club in Tell City.
The event will kick off at 7 p.m. In addition to the live auction, there will also be a silent auction where guests may place their bids in advance.
Items will include seasonal as well as other gift items. Baked goods will be available for purchase. A buffet dinner of fried chicken and roast beef will start at 5 p.m.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend the event.

TELL CITY – The Perry County Junior Women will present Sweets, Treats and Santa from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Schergens Center, 1140 31st Street in Tell City.
The day will be filled with fun, lunch and craft activities, members said. Children will also get to spend time with Santa and goodie bags will be handed out to the first 100 children. Door prizes will be drawn for parents and children throughout the event. Lunch will include Chicago’s pizza, cookies and a drink.

NEW BOSTON – The Sonshine Early Learning Ministry will host its annual rummage sale inside St. John’s Lutheran Church from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Friday, and from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, rain or shine.
Customers will receive a free pair of shoes with every purchase. The sale will have lots of clothes, including men’s, women’s, children and baby.
There will also be toys, furniture and much more.
There will also be a bake sale with homemade pies, rolls, cookies and bread.
The church is located just west of New Boston.

TELL CITY – The Tell City Optimist Club will conduct its annual blanket drive from Nov. 19 to Dec. 17.
Items accepted will be any size blanket or throw.
Drop off locations will be set up at Old National Bank, Fifth Third Bank, German American banks and the Evangelical United Church of Christ and St. Paul Catholic Church.
