TELL CITY – Are you diabetic? Or do you care for someone who is? St. Paul’s Catholic Church, in collaboration with Purdue Extension, is offering a program for people with diabetes and their families or caregivers.
Dining with Diabetes is a two-part educational series that will include information on diabetes and demonstrations on how to prepare meals that are healthy and tasty, but use less fat, sugar and salt.

Tri Kappa to host rummage sale March 10
TELL CITY — The Epsilon Omega Chapter of Tri Kappa will hold its annual rummage sale from 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 10 at Indiana Realty on Main Street across from Lincoln Hills Development Corp.
The group will accept community donations from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 9. You may drop off any items at Indiana Realty. All proceeds will be donated to the Tri Kappa Philanthropy Fund.

BIRDSEYE – The public is invited to head out to the Patoka Lake Visitor Center for a toe-tapping good time from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Old time, bluegrass, country gospel and contemporary Christian music with local musicians The Fraisers, Kirby Stailey, Old Stuff music group and Bob Gibson & Marian Mitchell Family & Friends will be featured. Hear mandolins, banjos and fiddle play too. Kid’s activities will take place from 1to 3 p.m. during the music.
