  • Run For Kids’ Sake 5K Saturday

    TELL CITY – The Run For Kids’ Sake 5K, Big Brothers Big Sisters first annual fun run-walk, will be held Saturday. Organizers invite the community to participate in this family-friendly event. Runners and non-runners are welcome and all money raised directly benefits children and families in Perry and Spencer counties.

    The race will begin and end at Everbody’s Fun and Fitness Center, 710 Fulton Street in Tell City. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the race will begin at 9 a.m.

    THE DAUGHTERS OF ISABELLA will meet at 7 p.m. March 4 in the St. Paul Catholic Church parish hall. The committee for refreshments will be Trish Edwards, Suzanne Dilger, Georgia Elder, Joan Esarey and Kay Etienne.     ST. MEINRAD – St. Meinrad Volunteer Fire Department will hold a Thirty-One Gifts fundraiser at 1 p.m. Sunday at the firehouse meeting room.     Health fair Friday at TCJSHS
    TELL CITY – The Tell City Junior-Senior High School will hold a school-wide health fair from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in the auxiliary gym. There will be many assorted activities as well as booths that will offer information on health and wellness. Free giveaways are available as well as prize drawings. The community is welcome to attend.

    Relay For Life  fundraisers April 17, May 1
    TELL CITY – The Lincoln Hills Relay For Life team will hold a dessert auction from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 17 in the Lincoln Conference room at 302 Main St. in Tell City.

    A yard sale will be held from 3 to 5:30 p.m. May 1, from 6:30 a.m. to noon May 2 and from 7 to 11 a.m. May 3. The sale will be held at 321 Ninth St.

    ST. MEINRAD – Team Happy of St. Boniface and St. Meinrad churches will hold its second annual Wine and Dine March 15 at the St. Meinrad Community Center. Wine tasting is from 4 to 6 p.m. CST.
    Pork-chop dinners will be catered by New Boston Tavern and served at 6:30 p.m.
