TELL CITY – The Family and Friends CPR classes will be offered from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
This program is designed for the lay person, 10 years and older, to learn CPR and choking-rescue skills. Children 10 and 11 years old may participate in the class with an older sibling or adult. No testing or performance evaluation required. Fee is $10 for the two-hour class.

TELL CITY – Oakwood Health Campus and Vista Care Hospice will hold a memorial service at 3 p.m. Thursday.
The service will be in remembrance of the friends and loved ones they have lost this past year.
Any family members and friends are invited to attend.

BIRDSEYE – Enjoy a special presentation by members of the Louisville AND Evansville Astronomical Societies and the Stonebelt Stargazers of Bedford as they share their knowledge of the sky above from 6 to 10 p.m. or later Saturday at the Patoka Lake Beach.
There will be kid’s activities from 6 to 8 p.m., along with solar observing. Two special astronomy programs will be held at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. under the tent on the beach.
From 8 p.m. on there will be telescopes set up for observations of Saturn and Mars as darkness falls.
