    TELL CITY – Tell City First Church of the Nazarene will host a weekend vacation Bible school, “Blast Off – Launching Kids on a Mission of God’s Love,” from Friday, July 25 through Sunday, July 29 at the church.

     Bible school at First Baptist set for Saturday

    CANNELTON – First Baptist Church in Cannelton will hold vacation Bible school from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 19. This event is open to children in kindergarten through 12th grade.

    Parents may drop children off beginning at 9:30 a.m. and all children must be picked up by 3:30 p.m. Parents will be required to sign permission slips available at drop-off or by sending email to youthrefuge2012@gmail.com.

    St. Boniface church picnic set for Aug. 3
    FULDA – The annual St. Boniface Catholic Church picnic will take place Sunday, Aug. 3, on the church grounds at Fulda.

    Roast beef or fried chicken dinners with all the trimmings and dessert will be served in air-conditioned dining rooms from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CDT.

    Take-outs are available. Fulda’s “famous soup” will be sold by the bowl or bulk. Containers will be available if guests need them.

    Immaculate Conception church picnic Saturday
    HAWESVILLE, Ky. - Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hawesville will host its annual barbecue picnic and flea market Saturday, July 12, at 115 Main Street in Hawesville.

    A flea market opens at 7 a.m. Pork, mutton, chicken and burgoo sandwiches and dinners will be available. Serving with carryouts will begin at noon and picnic booths will open at 3:30 p.m.

  • St. Augustine picnic to be held Sunday, July 27

    LEOPOLD – St. Augustine’s Catholic Church will hold its annual picnic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at the church. Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m.

    There will be parking available for disabled guests. There will be quilts, a quilt raffle, a silent auction, a country store, bingo, ice cream, games for all ages, baked goods and a grand raffle of 75 prizes totaling $3,000.  

  • Tell City First Baptist to host “Weird Animals” Bible school

    TELL CITY – Tell City First Baptist Church invites children to attend vacation Bible school from July 14 through July 18.

    The theme this year is “Weird Animals.” Throughout the week, kids will discover that Jesus’ love is one-of-a-kind.

    Kids will participate in Bible-learning activities, sing songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into treats, experience Bible adventures, collect Bible memory buddies and make crafts.

  • Bible school at First Baptist set for July 19

    CANNELTON – First Baptist Church in Cannelton will hold vacation Bible school from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 19.

    The theme will be “God’s Team.” Morning lessons will be followed by a provided lunch and an afternoon of fun and games.  

    This event is open to children in kindergarten through 12th grade.

    Parents may drop children off beginning at 9:30 a.m. and all children must be picked up by 3:30 p.m.

  • Bethel Christian Bible school July 7-11

    DOOLITTLE MILLS –   Doolittle Mills Bethel Christian church vacation Bible school will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. July 7 through 11.

    This year’s theme is “Jungle Safari.” Children of all ages are welcome to attend.
