Anniversaries

Richard and Noreida Paulin of Bristow will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, April 21, 2012. There will be an open house from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at St. Meinrad American Legion. All family and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.

Richard Paulin and the former Noreida Fischer Merkley were married May 5, 1962, at Holy Family Church in Jasper. Their attendants were Neva (Merkley) Arendt, Jane (Merkley) Jenkins and the late Janet (Merkley) Quante, Roman Mehringer, Dennis Baur and Bobby Cox.

William and Loma (Curl) Morgan of Richland celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 18, 2012, with a cruise to the Caribbean.

The couple were married in Hilham Jan. 18, 1952, by the Rev. Woodrow Archer.
They have five children, David and Caroline Morgan of Pinon, Ariz., Diana and Jimmy Carter of Richland, Mickey and Cheryl Morgan of Rockport, Susan and Hal Meyer of Florida and Kevin and Cindy Morgan of Owensboro, Ky. They also have 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Jeff and Jane Varner reaffirmed their union of marriage Jan. 1, 2012, by renewing their wedding vows.
The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Dea Good and witnessed by the congregation of the Cannelton Gospel Tabernacle Church.

Stephen and Suzanne Terry of Tell City will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary at 4 p.m. Dec. 31, 2011, with an open house at Tell City Seventh-day Adventist Church. The event will be hosted by their children.

Mr. Terry married the former Suzanne Jewell Dec. 26, 1971, at the Elkhart Seventh-day Adventist Church in Elkhart. They have three children, Rebekah Terry, John Terry and Elizabeth Pyle, all of Tell City.
