  • Joshua and Bonnie Welch

    Joshua and Bonnie Welch of Nashville, Tenn., celebrated their silver anniversary recently.

    The couple were married Sept. 3, 1988, at the Nashville War Memorial Building Auditorium. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Bill Vernick.
    Mr. Welch is the oldest of six children born to the late Morris and Jenive Smathers Welch of Canton, N.C. He retired in 1995 from Nashville Metro Parks and Recreation.

  • Michael and Katherine Paulin

    Michael and Katherine Paulin of Bristow will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at the St. Meinrad Community Center.

    All family and friends are welcome to attend from 1 to 5 p.m.
    Mr. and Mrs. Paulin were married July 28, 1988. They have three children, Beth Ann of Bristow, Kyle of Bristow and Brittney of Dale.

  • Curt and Sue Rogier

    Curt and Sue (Brown) Rogier of Leopold will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at 4 p.m. Aug. 9, 2013, at St. Augustine Catholic Church Hall. An open house will be held afterward.

    The couple were married Aug. 10, 1963, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold.
    Their attendants were Robert (Blick) and Yvonne (Rogier) Etienne, Elaine (Rogier) Sandleben and Gary Brown, and Betsy (Brown) Anderson and Virgil Brown.

  • Jimmy and Ruth Ransom

    Jimmy Dean and Ruth Ransom of St. Croix will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary July 29, 2013.

    A celebration was held July 27 at the Branchville Conservation Club and hosted by April Ransom and Mary Lois Ransom.
    Mr. Ransom married the former Ruth Hancock July 29, 1988, at the Branchville Methodist Church.
    The couple has two children, Jarrett Ransom of Tell City and April Ransom of St. Croix. They also have one grandchild, Bensen Ransom.
    Mr. Ransom works at the Jasper Group and Mrs. Ransom works at Leibering Dimension.

  • William and Nancy Rohl

    William E. and Nancy (Kluesner) Rohl will celebrate their golden 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 17, 2013, with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 4:30 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville.

    The couple was married Aug. 17, 1963, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bristow. Their attendants were Robert and Margie (Kluesner) Harpenau, Carolyn Kluesner, Betty Jo Lautner, Linus Kluesner, Kenneth LaGrange, Jeff Rohl and Alice (LeClere) Sommer.

  • John and Jean Dolezal

    John and Jean Dolezal will celebrate their 50th anniversary Saturday, Aug. 3, on a dining car in the Railroad Museum at French Lick. Kathy Joaquin, the couple’s daughter, will host the celebration.

    John Dolezal and the former Jean Meagher were married at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church Aug. 3, 1953.
    They have two daughters, Kathy Joaquin and her husband, Jaime, of San Antonio, Texas, and Beth Teller and her husband, Jonathan, of Clearwater, Fla. They also have three grandchildren, Mark and Daniel Joaquin and Erin Johnson.

  • David and Bessie Werne

    David and Bessie Werne of St. Meinrad will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at 5 p.m. June 15, 2013, with a Mass at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. A celebration will follow the Mass for invited guests. Invitations have been sent.

    Mr. Werne married the former Bessie Phelps June 1, 1963, at St. Meinrad Cath-olic Church. Attendants were Dalene (Pekingpaugh) Arnett, Carolyn (Anderson) Etienne, Martha (Werne) Tempel, Mary Werne, Dennis Werne and the late Darrel Phelps.
    The couple has one son, Barry Werne of Evansville, and two grandsons.

    Oscar and Marilyn Mullis of Siberia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, April 20, 2013.

  • Tom and Carol Vaal

    Mr. and Mrs. Tom Vaal of St. Meinrad will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, May 4, 2013. A Mass of Thanksgiving will be said at St. Meinrad Catholic Church at 2 p.m.

    An open house and reception will immediately follow at the Fulda Sportsman Club. The couple requests no gifts.

  • Sylvester and Marion Lindauer

    Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Lindauer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary April 20, 2013. An open house will be from 3 to 8 p.m. April 27 at the St. Meinrad Legion to honor the couple. They have requested no gifts.

    Mr. Lindauer married the former Marion Feltner April 20, 1963, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City. They are the parents of four children, Janie Oeding of Ferdinand, Brenda Henke of Ferdinand, Robert Lindauer of Santa Rita, Guam and Mark Lindauer of Sasebo-Shi, Japan. The couple also have 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
