    Kenneth and Shirley King of Derby celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Bristow Community Center.

    Kenneth and the former Shirley Dawson were married Feb. 19, 1964, in Hawesville, Ky.

  • Tim and Sandra Kratzer

    Tim and Sandra Kratzer of Tell City will celebrate their silver anniversary Friday, Feb. 21.

    Mrs. Kratzer is the former Sandra Jane Spencer. They have two daughters, Ashley Kratzer, 24, and Laura Kratzer, 19, both of Tell City.

  • James and Carole Litherland

    James E. and Carole Jean Litherland of Tell City renewed their wedding vows during a ceremony Sept. 29, 2013, in the Fellowship Hall of Evangelical United Church of Christ in Tell City.

    Mr. Litherland’s cousin, the Rev. Ed Fruehwald of Owensboro Baptist Church, presided. He was the ring bearer in the couple’s wedding on Sept. 28, 1963. They were wed by the Rev. Henry Lippert.

  • Randall and Doris Schaefer

    Randall and Doris Schaefer of rural St. Meinrad observed their 30th wedding anniversary Oct. 19 during a celebration with immediate family and friends hosted by their daughters at the St. Meinrad Knights of Columbus home.

  • Bill and Donna Peter

    Bill and Donna Peter of Tell City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 9, 2013.

    Their children and their families will host an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at the Perry County 4-H Fairgrounds in Tell City.

    Mr. Peter married the former Donna Dersch Nov. 9, 1963, at St. Mark Catholic Church.

    The couple has two children, Mike Peter and his wife, Ginger of Tell City and Steve Peter and his wife, Brenda of Newburgh. They also have five grandchildren, Crystal, Cathryn, Caylyn, Caleb and Gavin.

  • Henry and Margaret Bruggeman

    Henry J. and Margaret (LeClere) Bruggeman will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, with a Mass of Thanksgiving Oct. 20, at St. Marks Catholic Church.

    The couple was married Oct. 19, 1963, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City. Their attendants were Diane (LeClere) Sweat, Jerry Schwartz, Al Bruggeman, Claire Bruggeman, Sharon James, Allen James, Larry F. Brown, Mil (Brown) Dauby, Mark LeClere and Beth Ann Barger.

  • Ronald and Judy Naegele

    Ronald and Judy Naegele of Branchville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, with a gathering at the Schwartz Family Restaurant in Eckerty hosted by their family.

    Mr. Naegele married the former Judy Belcher Oct. 18, 1963, at the home of the Rev. Loval Eastridge. The couple has two children, Rhonda Carter (Chris) of Tell City and Marissa Hubert of Owensboro, Ky.
    They also have two grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
    Both are retired from the Branchville Correctional Facility.

  • Joshua and Bonnie Welch

    Joshua and Bonnie Welch of Nashville, Tenn., celebrated their silver anniversary recently.

    The couple were married Sept. 3, 1988, at the Nashville War Memorial Building Auditorium. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Bill Vernick.
    Mr. Welch is the oldest of six children born to the late Morris and Jenive Smathers Welch of Canton, N.C. He retired in 1995 from Nashville Metro Parks and Recreation.

  • Michael and Katherine Paulin

    Michael and Katherine Paulin of Bristow will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at the St. Meinrad Community Center.

    All family and friends are welcome to attend from 1 to 5 p.m.
    Mr. and Mrs. Paulin were married July 28, 1988. They have three children, Beth Ann of Bristow, Kyle of Bristow and Brittney of Dale.

  • Curt and Sue Rogier

    Curt and Sue (Brown) Rogier of Leopold will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at 4 p.m. Aug. 9, 2013, at St. Augustine Catholic Church Hall. An open house will be held afterward.

    The couple were married Aug. 10, 1963, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold.
    Their attendants were Robert (Blick) and Yvonne (Rogier) Etienne, Elaine (Rogier) Sandleben and Gary Brown, and Betsy (Brown) Anderson and Virgil Brown.
