  • Mildred and Cornelius Fest

    Cornelius (Corneil) and Mildred (Sandi) Fest of Mariah Hill will celebrate their 50th anniversary July 1. A celebration dinner and breakfast for invited guests will be held at the French Lick Resort West Baden July 1.
    Cornelius and Mildred (Vaeth) were married in St. Meinrad Catholic Church on July 1, 1967. Father Richard Hindel officiated.

  • Jane and Raymond Reed

    Raymond and Jane Reed of Cannelton celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 27. They were married April 27, 1957, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City.
    Katherine Cottingham, the couple’s daughter, and her husband Jerry of Tell City, along with their son Stephen Reed of Cannelton, will host a 60th anniversary celebration for friends and family June 24. Ray is a seasoned steel guitar player, and he will be accompanied by a band of musician friends for the barn celebration.

  • Joann and Kenny Waninger

    Kenny and Joann Waninger of Fulda celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary May 27, with a surprise party given by their children. Mr. and Mrs. Waninger were married June 1, 1957, at St. Meinrad Archabbey Church in St. Meinrad.

    They have seven children, Tony (Sandy) Waninger of Fulda, Becky (John) Wesner of Fulda, Tim Waninger of Owensboro, Ky., Jeff (Becky) Waninger, Jackie (Neil) Deom, Mike (Donna) Waninger and Tammy (Troy) Smith, all of Fulda. They have 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

  • Joe and Marlene Scarboro

    TELL CITY – Mr. and Mrs. Joe Scarboro of Tell City celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary with family and friends Saturday, June 10, at the Tell City Moose Lodge.

    Mr. Scarboro and the former Marlene Sutcliffe were married June 10, 1972, at Lilly Dale Church of Christ.

    They have two children, John Scarboro of Tell City and Cathy (Matt) Board of Leopold.

    They have six grandchildren, Katelin, Kaylee and Ashley Scarboro, Tyler and Dylan Watson and Myles Board.

  • Martha and Earl Miller

    Earl and Martha Miller, of Tell City, celebrated their 50th anniversary June 3. They were married June 3, 1967, at St. Meinrad Catholic Church in St. Meinrad. They have two sons, Pat (Carlene), of Greeley, Colo., and Frank (Christie) Miller of Philpot, Ky., and one grandchild, Cecila, 11.

  • Becky and Wyman Davis

    Wyman and Becky Davis of Tell City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 3.

    They couple was married June 3, 1967, at St. Mark Catholic Church. Mrs. Davis is the former Becky Goffinet.

    They have one child, Tim Davis and three grandchildren, Lauren, Emily and Claire.

    Wyman is retired from being self-employed as a carpenter and painter. Becky is retired from Old National Bank.

  • Cheryl and Michael Wollenman

    Michael and Cheryl Wollenman of Bristow celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary the weekend of Sunday, April 23, with a cabin getaway at Forgotten Times in Derby. They were visited by their children and grandchildren for grilling, fishing and paddleboating. The couple ended their weekend with a meal at The Overlook Restaurant in Leavenworth.

    Their children are Tracy (Mark) Durcholz of Ferdinand and Amanda Wollenman of St. Croix. Their grandkids include Landon, Claire, Desiree and Caroline.

  • Vicki and David Dickenson

    Vicki and David Dickenson of Tell City celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary April 15 with a family dinner celebration. They were married April 11, 1992 at Evangelical United Church of Christ in Tell City. They have a son, Cole Dickenson, 15.

    David is employed at Best Home Furnishings and Vicki is employed at Owensboro Health. Mrs. Dickenson is the former Vicki Sutcliffe.

  • Jean and Arch Kellems

    Arch and Jean Kellems, married April 7, 1947, in Leopold.

    The Kellems, long time residents of El Cajon, Calif., celebrated their 70th anniversary Saturday, April 7.

  • Pat and Jim Sprinkle

    Pat and Jim Sprinkle of Leopold will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary April 1. They were married April 1, 1967, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Tell City.

    The have two children, Michelle Duncan of Leopold and Brett Sprinkle of Evansville, and one grandchild, Aiden Duncan.

    Jim Sprinkle is retired from General Electric and Pat Sprinkle retired from Parker Hannifin.
