Kara Braunecker’s first-grade class at William Tell Elementary organized a school-wide food drive Nov. 15-19 and encouraged other students and staff to donate nonperishable food items to the local Council of Agencies in Tell City. The students collected and sorted 1,870 items, totaling 1,789 pounds of food. The items were delivered to the agency the afternoon of the 19th.
