Wood Memorial shuts out Marksmen 1-0

OAKLAND CITY—Strong defense kept Tell City in the game, but again the Marksmen couldn’t score in a 1-0 boys soccer loss to Wood Memorial Tuesday.
“We played very well,” said Tell City Coach Austin Fischer. “We just couldn’t find anyone who could score.
“We got a few good shots. The second half we loaded up on offense but we still couldn’t score.”
It was the sixth game in a row the Marksmen have been shut out.
