Woman arrested on warrants

ROME - A Perry County woman wanted on a Daviess County, Ky., warrant was arrested Aug. 7 in Rome. According to Perry County Sheriff's Deputy Daymion Marsh, Kimberly D. Scott, 40, of 5834 S. Rome Road was wanted on a warrant for several felony charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia and precursors.

Deputy Richard Kratzer and Marsh served the warrant that night. Scott, who gave jail officials an Evanston address, was arrested without incident and lodged in the Perry County Jail. She was handed over to Daviess County officials Aug. 10.
