TELL CITY - William Tell Elementary Principal Laura Noble has completed the Big Sur Half-Marathon, the fourth of five half-marathons she is participating in for her Eli Lilly Fellowship grant. Noble completed the 13.1-mile Highway One coastal route along Monterey Bay along with her husband, Wesley.

So far this project has raised over $3,000 toward The William Tell Trail, a fitness trail that would extend the Perry County Greenway and Sidewalk to School projects for the school and community. With other grants and donations, the total collected toward the trail exceeds $20,000. Noble received $8,000 from Eli Lilly Co. to cover all race expenses. Donations for the trail are still being accepted at the following levels: walker, $1 to $25; jogger, $26 to $50; runner, $51 to $75 and Olympian, $76 or more.
