CANNELTON – William L. “Bill” Taylor, 54, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at his home.
He was born Sept. 3, 1957, in Tell City, son of the late William and Freida (Henning) Taylor. Also preceding him in death were a daughter, Beth Ann Taylor; his wife, Terri Wheeler and brother John R. Taylor.
Bill was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Evanston, Indiana National Guard and Perry County Coon Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, coon hunting, bluegrass music and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by sons Matthew Taylor of Jacksonville, Fla., and Bradley Taylor (Brittany) of Tell City; his fiancé, Trish Mullins of Cannelton; sisters Pat Howell of Derby and Mary Jones and K.L. Taylor, both of Tell City; five brothers, David Taylor of Robinson, Ill., Joe “Pee Wee” Taylor and Jerry “Grub” Taylor, both of Tell City, Steven Taylor of Hawesville, Ky., and “Boo” Taylor of Tell City and three grandchildren, Kade, Aiden and Kaleb Taylor.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Lilly Dale Cemetery. Pastor Mike Mueller will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, (today) and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday.
