William Hayden, 84

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – William F. Hayden, devoted husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grand-father, brother, uncle, godfather and friend, died at home Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, surrounded by his family.
He was born at home to Mary Alma Mattingly and Fred Hayden Oct. 9, 1925 in Loretto, Ky.
He served in Germany at the very end of World War II in the United States Army. Billy was married to Mary “Wanny” Ryan Nov. 25, 1947, and they enjoyed nearly 63 full and wonderful years together. Theirs was truly a love story and they were best friends.
