Wildcats outspike Perry Central

LEOPOLD - Perry Central was unable to block Jasper's spikes and lost to the Wildcats 25-13, 25-14, 25-13 in volleyball Thursday.

Megan Hedinger had the Commodores' only block against the Wildcats, who are ranked 10th in the state in the Class 3A coaches poll.

Jessica Huber made seven kills and Hedinger added six for Perry Central.

Tessa Lynch had eight assists and Sloan Harpenau had six.

Harpenau served two aces. She and Hilarie Hahus each made six digs.

Jasper won the junior varsity match 25-9, 25-14.

Deidra Dickerson made three kills and four digs for Perry Central. Brittany Overstreet also made four digs.

Lindsey Gengelbach had five assists and Kayla Carter served two aces.

Perry Central, 4-25 in varsity and 8-9 in JV, will visit Forest Park Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
