Christine Weber of Dale and Luke Himsel of Dubois were united in marriage during a ceremony held June 19, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dale.
The bride is the daughter of Frederick and Diane Weber of Dale. Mr. Himsel is the son of Lois Recker and Harvey Himsel of Dubois.
The bride was given away in marriage by her father in the ceremony officiated by the Rev. John Brosmer.
Maria Weber of Broomfield, Colo., sister of the bride, was chosen as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amie Waninger of Dale, Molly Himsel of Dubois, sister-in-law of the bride, and Jessica Lindauer, Megan Lindauer and Amber Lindauer of St. Meinrad, cousins of the bride.
Abi and Ali Barners of Avon, cousins of the groom, were the flower girls. Servers were Cory Taylor of Bristow and Malareah Balbach of Ferdinand, cousins of the bride. Bubbles and programs were distributed by Baylie Taylor of Bristow, cousin of the bride, and Sarah Himsel of Evansville, cousin of the groom.
Jarett Freyburger of Dubois served as best man. Groomsmen were Ethan Merkle of Dubois, Seth Neukam of Hayesville, Dustin Wagner of Celestine, Eric Himsel of Dubois, brother of the groom, and Dakota Recker of Huntingburg, brother of the groom.
Cade Bayer of Birdseye, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
The reception was held at the Santa Claus Legion following the ceremony.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Heritage Hills High School and a 2010 graduate of Indiana University. She works for a nonprofit in Visalia, Calif.
Mr. Himsel is a 2006 graduate of Dubois High School and is enlisted in the United States Navy. He is currently deployed.
