JASPER – The Dubois County Emergency Management Agency, in conjunction with the National Weather Service in Louisville, Ky., will host severe-weather spotting training Wednesday at the Jasper Community Arts Center, 951 College Ave.
The training will begin at 6:30 p.m. EDT, is free and open to anyone interested in severe weather and public service.
The object of the training is provide the knowledge needed to identify and effectively report key severe weather features and to remain safe during severe weather events, including tornadoes and floods.
