Waupaca seeks changes to IDEM permit

TELL CITY - Thyssen-Krupp Waupaca Inc. has filed an application with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management seeking to modify an air-quality operating permit for its plant in Perry County.

The company has applied to construct a new paint booth and to modify the capacity of one of its operating lines from 25 tons per hour to 35 tons. As a result, the company is seeking to revise lead and beryllium emission limits.
