Waupaca donates to Garden Club

-A A +A

GRANDVIEW – The Garden Club of Grandview recently received a monetary donation from Waupaca Foundry, Tell City plant, for its current community project.
The garden club is sponsoring a new park for the children of their community. The park will use town property that is unusable for residence. It will be located on the northeast side of Grandview, where there are currently no play areas.
There are several ways the public can help with this project. There is a park project account set up at the Spencer County Bank and at Grandview’s library in the “Pennies for the Park Jar.” There have been many donations already and club members would like to thank everyone for their support and wishes to remind everyone to watch for more fundraising events in the future. The garden club hopes other businesses and community organizations will participate in the project.
