ST. CROIX - A traffic stop on Interstate 64 Saturday netted police a man allegedly wanted on an Illinois warrant.
According to Indiana State Police Trooper Phil Lubbers, Andrew Tindall, 21, of 9054 S. Rosemary Lane, Pekin, was a passenger in a 1998 Ford Escort stopped for a traffic violation near the 79-mile marker. A records check showed Tindall was wanted on a felony theft warrant from Monroe County, Ill. He was lodged in the Perry County Jail and was to be extradited to Illinois.
