Walker Cemetery fund report released

BRANCHVILLE – A meeting with the trustees and others interested in the upkeep of the Walker Cemetery in Branchville was held Aug. 18 in the cemetery shelter house. Attending this meeting were Katherine Frakes, Polly Sprinkle, Mary Lois Ransom, Edna Taylor, Doug Galey, Anna Mae Riddle, Doreen Keilman, Bill Ransom, Roseanna Gibson and Wanda Mullins.
Finances were the first topic discussed. The cemetery has a bank balance of $5,507.22. Donations and memorials since August, 2011 have been $1,417.14.
