Wagner earns Daughters of Isabella $500 scholarship

TELL CITY – A Daughters of Isabella $500 scholarship was awarded to Amanda Wagner, daughter of Chris and Janet Wagner. She is a 2012 graduate of Tell City High School and valedictorian of her class.

This award is based on financial need, academics, grade-point average and extra curricular activities in areas such as community, civic and religion. The length of college or program is also taken into consideration. The student must be a child or grandchild of a member of the local D. of I. circle.
Wagner was a class officer on the student council and a member of several Tell City High School clubs. We the Youth, United Way Day of Caring, March of Dimes, mission trips and a church volunteer were just a few activities in which she took part. She also won swimming records and awards at TCHS, including sectional and PAC records.
She will continue her swimming at Butler University School this fall while attending pharmacy school.
