TELL CITY – Members of the Perry County Convention and Visitors Bureau have their eyes on a passenger rail car that could offer excursions to tourists for next year’s Schweizer Fest and other community celebrations.

Board members meeting Aug. 15 declined to say where the passenger rail car that may be for sale is located but discussed the work of a local rail group that is exploring how the Hoosier Southern Railroad line between Tell City and Cannelton could be used as a tourist draw.
